INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE has been found in early text dating back 4,000 years.

It is definitely nothing new ... but to the UK, Indian Head Massage only recently became known as an accepted therapy.

Today, many Therapists train and offer Indian Head Massage.  They all work to their own Code of Ethics, and Laws and Acts, the legal formality is to be found everywhere, which is a good thing, as this means not just anyone can set up in Indian Head Massage, which is all good for the client and the Therapist, as they all know where they stand legally.
Blackpool Crystal Therapy offers Indian Head Massage as a treatment knowing that you will benefit from this.

Each treatment will be for different reasons, you may want to be re-energised or you may wish to unwind and just be loosened up and relaxed, either way Blackpool Crystal Therapy can help you.

How often you require an Indian Head Massage is dependent on several factors, for instance if you are having a treatment for specific reasons, ie stress, tightness of the muscles then you may find an appointment every 2 weeks relieves the area of pain and keeps you topped up, it may be 3-4 weeks, you will know what is best for you, after your treatment, Blackpool Crystal Therapy will contact you in a few days and see how you feel too, then you can advise me if you think you will feel the benefit from more or less frequent treatments, you decide.

If you wish to BOOK IN for an Indian Head Massage for pure relaxing indulgence, then again, I would recommend topping up approximately every two months, but again, you will know when you are feeling in top condition and when you are not, so again, you can book when you feel you are ready to benefit from your next Indian Head Massage.

Blackpool Crystal Therapy hopes this and the other information I have written on this website has been informative for you, if you wish to have any other questions answered, please do not hesitate to ask, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Q:  CAN EVERYONE HAVE AN INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE?

Please see the Legal Page for Contraindications, this shows any health reasons why you should not have an Indian Head Massage and other facts.

PLEASE NOTE:

SKIN TEST FOR ALLERGIES ARE REQUIRED / OR / PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN OILS WITH YOU

WHICH YOU KNOW YOU HAVE NO ALLERGIC REACTION TO.  THANK YOU!

Q:  WHAT HAPPENS IN AN INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE TREATMENT?

Before you have an Indian Head Massage you must complete your Contraindications and Personal Consultation Form, from this I can see any area to avoid and if you are well enough to have this therapy.  Before your appointment I would advise you that oils are used and would ask if you have any NUT ALLERGIES!  I would then advise you to wear suitable clothingto attend ie - strapless t-shirt or t-shirt where you can remove your arms easily like a thin strappy t-shirt, for men I would ask the same, of if they prefer to remove their t-shirt.  I would then advise that oils will go in the hair, and that the Indian Head Massage does release natural oils to the hair, and that when you wash it after the Indian Head Massage you should place shampoo on dry hair, and then wash it out, otherwise the oils will stay on your hair making it lank.  Then I would ask you to sit comfortably with your hand on your lap.  I would then firstly warm your back muscles through massage and ask you if the hands on massage was too firm or too gentle, to ensure you thoroughly enjoy the experience and then I would begin the Indian Head Massage, the back, shoulders, arms, kneck and face and head wuld all be massaged. Whilst you sit and enjoy the experience and receive the benefits from having an Indian Head Massage.
